A Haze of Maize

I love this time of year, being able to walk into the garden, basket in hand, moving along the grassy aisles, breathing in the fresh air and making choices from the beautiful selection of home grown grub.

The sweetcorn has been particularly good this season… pop into a pot of boiling, well salted, water for 5 minutes, slather in butter et bon appetit..
